Bio:

Barbara Wolf is co-ordinator of the Global Meditations Network, an organization that, via the Internet, makes it possible for a large number of people world wide to quickly focus positive energies on given problems, be they global, national, or local in aspect. The theory is that when extensive positive energies are injected into a crisis, which is negative in aspect, the parameters of the crisis are changed, so there is a possibility for the crisis to be resolved. Today, because of the Internet, the network can reach an estimated 15,000 within four days of an alert being sent out. The Global Meditations network coordinates with similar networks in order to reach as many people as possible.

Topics and themes for Conference:

From my perspective, the most interesting discussion topic of the San Francisco meeting concerns the forming of strong alliances via the Internet so there can be a "federation" of environmental and ecological websites that can alert and mobilize people world wide if and when there is a global, ecological crisis.
