Topics and themes for Conference:
Ways to enable more of the world's marginalized people to communicate with and participate in such consciousness-expanding efforts as this one provides. David Korten's "The Post-Corporate World: Life After Capitalism" provides a RICH springboard for exploring articulation of such questions as "What kind of world *do* we want?" For example, the last half of Chapter 6. Embracing Life's Wisdom -- System Design for a Post-Corporate World -- offers an exceedingly relevant framework to discuss, pick apart, expand upon. Learning what people attending are engaged in and brainstorming strategies for "accelerat[ing] the evolution of tools and technologies which can help people understand, digest, and creatively respond to the various ecological crises ... plagu[ing] Earth" is what i'm looking forward to. The ongoing connections made from participating in Carol Brouillet's Feb Gathering have expanded me greatly and linked up with many more people building a sustainable civilization. i look forward to this July gathering for accelerating such connectedness and linking up with more and more innovative "expanders", designers, and inventors.
