PLANETWORK Follow Up To our presenters, staff, video and webcast crews, workexchange volunteers and all of the participants, thank you all for making the first PLANETWORK Conference a rousing success. Here are a few items of interest: Conference Audio Tapes are available from Conference Recording
If you were registered for the May 2000 conference and have not already completed and/or updated and published your profile in the opt-in online database, we urge you to do so now. This will allow you to search for other profiles, and others to locate you. http://listserv.planetworkers.org/pnw-bin/pnw-login.pl NOTE: Due to the extreme trickster nature of the universe, the PLANETWORK Conference database crashed the morning of Saturday, 5/13/2000. Fortunately, we did have a backup, but any information that was entered between 12:00pm 5/12/2000 and 10am 5/13/2000, was lost and will have to be reentered.
The Webby Award winning Utne Café will be hosting an ongoing PLANETWORK discussion forum. This is our opportunity to keep the momentum going online. We urge you to check it out if you have not already. This link will get you in for the first time: http://cafe.utne.com/motet/signup.html After that this will take you directly to the PLANETWORK conference: http://cafe.utne.com/motet/bin/enter?Planetwork
We have archived all of the Power Point talks which we were able to obtain while presenters were onsite, and Indy Media has offered to transfer all of the audio tapes from the presentations to digital audio files, which will be available on this site. Stay tuned. Check for more information here soon.
Thanks, Be well, Jim |
