| Catherine Baldi is the Information Coordinator for Project Underground - a human rights organization that works to support communities threatened by the oil and mining industries. She is editor of Drillbits & Tailings, an online bi-monthly newsletter that reports on the activities of the oil and mining industries and their impacts around the world. Before joining Project Underground in 1997, Catherine worked for the Bay Area internet service provider CRL Network Services in various technical and administrative capacities. Her work on issues surrounding the extractive industries and human rights was fostered by directly witnessing the impacts of oil and mining operations on communities in the Amazon region. | |
