Gil is founder and CEO of Natural Logic, a software and strategy firm that helps companies and communities prosper by embedding the laws of nature at the heart of enterprise. "Why should companies reinvent the wheel, when the R&D has already been done?" Gil is a systems ecologist (Antioch University) by training, who reports his key influences have included "Bateson, Beer and Bucky (Fuller)." He was co-director of Institute for Local Self-Reliance, a noted "think and do tank," and a founding board member of both internet pioneer Institute for Global Communications and the Sustainable Business Alliance. Gil works closely with Sweden's "Natural Step" management system.
