Sheri Herndon is a media activist with 8 years of experience creating media and educating people about the power of independent and diverse media to promote radical and healing social change. News director at KCMU Public Radio/Seattle for 4 years, she developed a news program that became one of Seattle's most progressive and vibrant activist information sources. As one of the founders of the Independent Media Center, she currently works to preserve open space in technology and is developing indymedia.org to become part of a global communications network.
