Jon Zilber, Vice President Content Services Mr Zilber
is Vice President of Content Services for Verde
Media. He is responsible for overseeing the development of Verde's
content offering and look and feel. Prior to joining Verde, Mr.
Zilber oversaw the Editorial Services Groups at Alexander Ogilvy
Public Relations Worldwide in the agency's West Coast offices, and
supervised the interactive services and product development teams.
Mr. Zilber served as editor-in-chief of several leading technology
publications at Ziff-Davis and Imagine Publishing, including PC/Computing,
Corporate Computing, MacUser, Windows Sources and The Net. His expertise
spans virtually every computing and communications platform, having
had responsibility for testing and reviewing over 10,000 hardware
and software products for the PC, Macintosh, Internet and enterprise
networks. |
Mr. Zilber also served as managing editor at Infoseek, where he developed
online content and partnerships -- with such media companies as Disney,
Conde Nast, IDG and Reuters -- that anticipated the current trend toward
Internet "channels." Earlier, Mr. Zilber spent five years as director
of research for KMI, a market research firm serving the telecommunications
industry. Mr. Zilber holds a master's degree from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, where his research and coursework included
many of the areas that were later brought together as the MIT Media
Lab.
