For release May 12, 2000 PLANETWORK and Venice International University Produce Simulcast San FranciscoÑPLANETWORK Global Ecology and Information Technology conference has teamed with Venice International University to produce a joint discussion forum using the Internet. Saturday May 13th at 9:00 PM at the Querini Stampalia Palace in Venice and at 11:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time in the San Francisco Golden Gate ClubÕs PLANETWORK Press Room, speakers from the two countries will conduct a joint discussion using ÔsimulcastingÕ over the web. The PLANETWORK forum will be available online at www.planetworkers.net and in Italy at www.ethicstv.com. The Italian forum is under the direction of Anita Sieff, who was involved in the early conceptual discussion about PLANETWORK in 1997 and Ô98. "My interest is to promote the PLANETWORK conference and to create resonance in Italy where there is considerable attention being paid to the ecological problem," says Sieff from Italy. "We are finding more new small businesses using creative answers to the environmental crisis as a way of developing strategies to squeeze into the business world beside the obsolete corporate system. My aim with Saturday's forum is to understand how many people are responsible and willing to discuss this new transformative trend." ethicsTV is an online community think-tank exploring issues of ethics, the environment, sustainable business development, art and culture.
