Work Exchange with PlaNetwork

A limited number of work exchange opportunities will be available at the PLANETWORK Conference.

We are also especially looking for people who have skills and would like to work on various components of the event, including this website, in advance of the conference. Please call 415-436-0123.

To participate in the Work Exchange program participants must work two 4-hour shifts, or the equivalent, in exchange for a full conference registration fee waiver.

All participants must attend a MANDATORY orientation meeting Thursday evening May 11th, 7-9pm at the Golden Gate Club at the Presidio. Check the location page for directions. We will also send e-mail updates to the address you use to register. We will only call if there were a problem with your registration.

We will try to accommodate participants desired work preferences, but make no promises. Duties will be assigned based on the needs of the conference and the abilities of participants, and then on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To apply for a work exchange position, please send e-mail with "Work Exchange Application" in the subject line to: workexchange@planetworkers.org All applications for the work exchange program must be made via e-mail, and all applicants should use an e-mail account that they check on a regular basis. If you do not have reliable email, please let us know and we will notify you by telephone as to schedule details.

In the body of the message include your contact information (including phone #) and any skills or information that might be relevant. We will then send you a confirmation by e-mail and put you on our "Confirmed" list. This will hold a work exchange position for you. After that, please continue to check this page for further details and updates including the exact time and place of the orientation meeting.
