Michael Tolson

Michael Tolson is CEO of Envoii Inc, which has developed a new distributed object model for the Internet. Prior to founding Envoii, he was principal and CTO of Xaos Tools, which developed high-end graphics software for television and film.

Michael has had a second career as a computer artist, and has received numerous international awards for his work. He holds two patents for Computer Graphics and AI, and has five pending for his Envoii work.

Michael’s interests include Artificial Intelligence, distributed systems and social network architectures. He is particularly interested in applications of biologically based emergent systems as they apply to virtual ecologies.
